We are an advisory body created under the supervision of the Ministry of Tourism and Leisure. We are responsible for liaising between public administrations concerned with tourism and private operators involved in the tourism and leisure sector.

The National Tourism Council was created by decree n ° 2018-385 of April 4, 2018 according to the dynamics displayed by the Ivorian authorities of tourism, the third pole of economic development in the Ivory Coast.

Indeed, the creation of the National Tourism Council fills an institutional void by positioning itself as an instrument of good governance. Today, it is a question of stimulating a new dynamic in the tourism sector in order to enable it to fit into the Government's vision.

As part of the implementation of the tourism development strategy of Côte d'Ivoire called "SUBLIME CÔTE D’IVOIRE", the National Tourism Council plays a leading role. It is an important tool for dialogue, consultation, reflection, but above all for strategic watch, analysis and force of proposal.

We believe that it is together with all the actors of the tourism industry in a new dynamic that we will be able to make sublime Ivory Coast a reality and by extension make tourism the third pillar of development of the city, a project dear to the President of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, His Excellency Allassane Ouattara.
